this should have been drafted on one of the typewriters

Tonight Maggie & I came with Mason to see Sage in the city. We don’t always have the time or inclination to make it on these nights, so it was a treat to be able to watch him at swim lessons, and later in the adjoining park (where he discovered why we don’t ever bail out of a swing if we feel it’s going too high. Sand mouth!)

After he was safely dispatched to his mom, the three of us went to 3030, a bar in the Junction that holds “Analog Tuesdays”. I heard about it through a knitting board on Ravelry; Mason heard about it through a beer board. We decided to check it out. What we found was wonderful food, fantastic taps (beet IPA FTW!!) and a noisy place where we could finger feed our baby without anyone giving us a second look that wasn’t approving.

I struck up a conversation with a girl named Marty about knitting, Hillside and favourite CBC programs. Analog ideas, all. Great night, wonderful date with baby. We’ll certainly be back.
